OUR story
A place with a soul that we were missing
Chalet STRÖMY was born naturally, from a love of travel, the mountains, and places with a soul. Over the years we spent traveling, we had the opportunity to experience various types of accommodation—from simple mountain huts to premium hotels. These very experiences taught us to perceive the difference between just “spending the night” and a true experience.
We discovered that what makes a stay exceptional isn’t just a nice interior. It’s the peace you feel immediately upon arrival. It’s the details that may not be visible at first glance but create comfort. And above all, the feeling that you are being taken care of without even having to ask. It was natural for us to translate this experience into our own project. In Demänovská Valley—a place that possesses exceptional energy on its own. A place that would combine nature, design, and service at a level we came to love abroad.
And so, Chalet STRÖMY was born.

Chalet STRÖMY offers comfortable accommodation for 8 to 10 people. The space is designed so that guests do not feel cramped, even at full occupancy.

Is the wellness area available throughout the entire stay?

Check-in is handled online and is completely contactless. You can register from the comfort of your home before arrival, and on the day of your stay, you will receive all the necessary information regarding arrival, parking, and entering the chalet.

Yes. Guests have access to free private parking directly at the property.
How far is the chalet from the Jasná ski resort?
The chalet is located in Demänovská Valley with a direct connection to the ski bus, which runs to the Jasná ski resort during the winter season according to the current schedule.
Is the chalet suitable for a summer stay?
Absolutely. The surrounding area offers hiking, cycling trails, caves, water attractions, and water parks. The chalet is ideal for both active and passive relaxation throughout the entire year.
Is the chalet fully equipped, or do we need to bring anything?
The chalet is fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The kitchens have everything you need, and we provide bed linen, towels, bathrobes, and sauna sheets. Just arrive and start living.
Is it possible to book the chalet for a shorter stay?
The minimum stay requirements vary depending on the season. You can always find the current conditions and available dates in our booking calendar.
